2026 Pro-Housing Leadership Certification Course

The Pro-Housing Leadership Certification Course is a 6-week program designed to help people understand why Los Angeles has a housing crisis and how to advocate for solutions that expand housing at all levels of affordability while strengthening renters’ rights. Through clear, systems-focused teaching, participants learn how housing history, zoning, policy, and power shape what gets built and who benefits. The course centers equity, health, safety, and inclusion, and prepares participants to confidently explain housing issues and support policy reforms in their own communities. Live sessions meet once a week for 75 minutes and are designed for people balancing work, school, and family. All sessions are held on Zoom, recorded, and uploaded to Teachable for flexible participation. A live capstone session is available for participants seeking certification and is required to earn the Pro-Housing Leadership Certification.
